Spiced-up Turmeric Latte⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1/4 cup raw cashews⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 cup filtered water⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1/2 cup coconut cream⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3-5 drops Turmeric⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2 cm fresh ginger (substitute 5 drops Ginger)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 tsp Manuka honey⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1/2 tsp Nutmeg⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 drop Cinnamon Bark ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Soak cashews prior in water for 3 hours. Then place through a sieve and wash them clean with fresh water. Then I place everything in the blender and blitz. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Then heat in saucepan.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Add 1 tsp coconut oil while heating.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When warm, pour into mug. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Tips: do not boil, just bring to gentle heat/ light simmer. For the Turmeric and Ginger, you can use fresh and if using Fresh Turmeric you get a brilliant bright yellow mix. But using the oil is just as good and less hassle. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
