So grateful for today.
.
Because yesterday was one of the worst days ever. I literally laid in bed almost all day with ice packs on my face from deferred pain a tooth that needs work. Since October I have had all this weird pain: a significant headache on the crown of my head that circles backward around my head, a nervous twitch above my lip that makes it hard sometimes to hold my face in one spot, an increasingly large simple near my eye, a spasm in my cheek. I thought it was from doing way too many headstands, I thought maybe I had trigeminal nerve damage. I thought I just had wrinkles.
.
Yesterday convinced me otherwise. All of this comes from this tooth. Yesterday, I had it all: headache, toothache, spasms, nervous twitches, disorientation, bad mood, all of it.
.
I had a long talk with my business manager yesterday, and was like how do I do this? How do I juggle all the current responsibilities? Make room for ones that really work? Say no to so many others opportunities that are close but not there yet? Train new people? Manage business operations, and be sure that the bottom line is intact?
.
It’s a lot, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. As @ed.dailey taught me, just make space for it. And, I am increasingly learning: unapologetically check out on the regular.
.
That said, I have a favor to ask. Convention is coming, and my schedule is completely and utterly packed. There is one day where I am booked from 4 am-11 pm, I have 2 days with 5:30 am or earlier call times. If you really want to meet me, pretty please come see me at AromaSharing, at a workshop, at YL Fit, or at The Club Bash. I can’t wait to meet you all there! .
